• "Motherly Murderesses": Grove Guardians are fittingly described as "motherly murderesses," embodying both the protective, nurturing aspect of the Sylvaneth and their ferocious response when their sacred groves are threatened.
• Tenders of Soulpod Groves: Their primary role is to tend to the soulpod groves, the vital nurseries where new Sylvaneth emerge from their slumber.
• Visual Depiction: The miniature beautifully reflects this lore, often depicting a Grove Guardian emerging from a tree, with bark intricately intertwined around her form. She might be seen nurturing blooming flowers or standing near a newly formed Sylvaneth slumbering within its pod.

• Soulshriek: This powerful defensive ability allows the Grove Guardian to unleash a heart-freezing scream. If nearby Sylvaneth fall in battle, this scream can potentially slay attackers outright, representing the fury of the awakened grove.
• Combat Capability: Despite their support role, Grove Guardians are not defenceless. They are armed with a choice between a sickle or shimmering blades and can deliver a respectable nine attacks, each dealing D3 damage.

Soulpod Guardians Army of Renown: The Grove Guardian truly shines as the centerpiece of the Soulpod Guardians Army of Renown. This specialized formation consists exclusively of Grove Guardians, Branchwyches, and units with the "Revenant" keyword. This Army of Renown is geared towards defending Soulpod Grove terrain and gains the powerful Vengeance for the Lost ability. If a Soulpod Grove is destroyed during battle, all units within the Soulpod Guardians Army of Renown gain an additional 2 to their melee weapon Attacks for the remainder of the battle, making them even more deadly in retaliation.
