• Design Similarities: It shares design characteristics with the Storm Eagle, an aircraft dating back to the Great Crusade era.
• Grey Knights' Claim: Lore from the Grey Knights suggests the Stormraven has been in their service for millennia, possibly since M39 or even earlier, predating their formal founding.
• Blood Angels' Rediscovery: Conversely, Blood Angels lore claims that the Standard Template Construct (STC) for the Stormraven was rediscovered in early M41.
