Ratlings are a sub-species of human, often described as short and wiry, hailing from the underbelly of Imperial society. Despite their size, they are formidable snipers and scouts, trained to operate behind enemy lines and eliminate high-value targets with lethal efficiency. Their keen senses and natural agility make them exceptional at navigating the battlefield, allowing them to strike from the shadows.

A typical Kill Team Ratlings squad consists of several key roles, each contributing to the team's overall effectiveness:

Ratling Sniper: The core of the Ratling team, these snipers are armed with specialized sniper rifles, such as the Ratling Sniper Rifle. This weapon is designed for long-range engagements, allowing them to pick off enemies from a distance with deadly accuracy.

Specialist Roles: Depending on the mission, Ratlings may include specialists equipped with additional gear, such as:

Silenced Weapons: Some Ratlings may carry silenced weapons for stealthy engagements, allowing them to eliminate targets without drawing attention.
Demo Charges: Ratlings can also be equipped with explosives for sabotage missions, enabling them to disrupt enemy operations and create chaos.

Camo Gear: Ratlings often utilize camouflage and stealth gear to blend into their surroundings, enhancing their ability to remain undetected while scouting or sniping.


This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Ratlings, a Ratling Battlemutt, an Ammo Cache marker, and two Tripwire markers. These miniatures can be used as sharpshooting Ratlings operatives in games of Kill Team, or fielded in an Astra Militarum army in games of Warhammer 40,000. The kit includes head options and accessories to customise your kill team, plus components to build specialists like the tough Hardbit, evasive Sneak, light-fingered Stashmaster, and more.

Inside the box, you will also find a sheet of 39 double-sided Ratlings tokens, so you can easily keep track of your equipment and in-game effects in the heat of battle.

This kit comprises 128 plastic components, 1x Citadel 28mm Round Base, and 15x Citadel 25mm Round Bases. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
