Pathfinders are the reconnaissance units of the T'au Fire Caste, tasked with scouting ahead of the main forces and providing vital information about enemy positions and movements. Equipped with advanced technology and weaponry, they excel in ambush tactics and hit-and-run engagements, making them a formidable presence on the battlefield.
A typical Kill Team Pathfinder squad consists of several key roles, each contributing to the team's overall effectiveness:

Pathfinder Team Leader: The leader of the squad, often equipped with enhanced gear and experience, coordinates the team's actions and ensures that objectives are met. They may carry specialized weapons or equipment to enhance their combat effectiveness.

Pulse Carbine Troopers: Most Pathfinders are armed with pulse carbines, versatile weapons that offer a balance of range and firepower. These weapons are effective against infantry and can be equipped with various upgrades, such as markerlights.

Markerlight Operators: Some Pathfinders are equipped with markerlights, advanced targeting systems that allow them to designate targets for their allies. This ability enhances the accuracy of friendly fire and can turn the tide of battle by ensuring that enemy units are swiftly neutralized.

Special Weapons: Depending on the mission, Pathfinders may also include specialists armed with heavier weaponry, such as ion rifles or rail rifles, providing additional firepower to deal with armored threats or high-value targets.

This multipart plastic kit builds a squad of 10 Pathfinders with three accompanying drones for use in games of Kill Team or with T’au Empire armies in Warhammer 40,000. The miniatures can be customised to represent the specialists in a kill team, including a Drone Controller, Assault Grenadier, Marksmen, Medical Technician, and more. There are also different heads and other cosmetic options.

Inside the box, you will also find a set of 39 Pathfinders tokens, so you can easily keep track of your equipment and in-game effects in the heat of battle.

This set comprises 183 plastic components and is supplied with 10x Citadel 25mm Round Bases, 3x Citadel Small Flying Bases, 1x Citadel Long Flying Stems, and 2x Citadel Small Flying Stems. This set also includes 1x T’au Empire Infantry Transfer Sheet containing 185 high-quality waterslide transfers for you to use to decorate your models.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly - we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
