Heavy Weapon Squads consist of a small team of Guardsmen equipped with powerful heavy weapons designed to deliver devastating firepower against enemy units. These squads are typically deployed to provide long-range support, fortifying the Astra Militarum's position and helping to hold the line against enemy assaults.

Heavy Firepower: Heavy Weapon Squads can be equipped with a variety of heavy weapons, including:

*Lascannons: Ideal for taking down heavily armored vehicles and monstrous creatures.
*Missile Launchers: Versatile weapons that can target both infantry and vehicles, with the option to fire different types of missiles.
*Autocannons: Effective against light vehicles and infantry, providing a good balance of firepower.
*Mortars: Excellent for indirect fire, allowing them to target enemies in cover or behind obstacles.

Static Defense: Heavy Weapon Squads are typically deployed in a static position, allowing them to maximize their effectiveness while minimizing movement. This makes them ideal for holding objectives or defending key locations.

Teamwork: Each squad consists of multiple Guardsmen, allowing them to work together to lay down a significant volume of fire. They can also benefit from orders issued by nearby officers, enhancing their effectiveness.


This multipart plastic kit builds three Heavy Weapons Teams – paired infantry soldiers crewing portable guns – for your Astra Militarum armies in games of Warhammer 40,000. Each team can be armed with your choice of a heavy bolter, missile launcher, mortar, autocannon, or lascannon, meaning you'll always have the right weapon for the right target. Whichever weapon choice you go for, you'll be able to rain down fire on your enemies before they get close. The kit includes multiple cosmetic options to personalise your miniatures, making it easy to customise your weapon teams.

This kit comprises 127 plastic components, 3x Citadel 50mm Round Bases, and 1x Cadian Infantry Transfer Sheet containing 597 high-quality waterslide transfers to decorate your miniatures. These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
