The Skaven are a race of malevolent, rat-like humanoids that dwell in the Under-Empire, a vast network of tunnels and cities beneath the surface of the Old World. In Blood Bowl, they are known for their fast-paced, aggressive playstyle, often relying on their speed and trickery to outmaneuver opponents. Skaven teams are typically composed of a mix of agile players and brutish muscle, making them a formidable force on the field.

A typical Skaven Blood Bowl team consists of several key player types, each contributing to the team's overall strategy:

Gutter Runners: The stars of the Skaven team, Gutter Runners are incredibly fast and agile players. They excel at dodging tackles and weaving through defenses, making them ideal for scoring touchdowns. Their speed allows them to exploit gaps in the opponent's formation, often catching defenders off guard.

Stormvermin: These are the elite warriors of the Skaven, equipped with armor and weapons. Stormvermin serve as the team's muscle, capable of taking down opposing players and protecting the Gutter Runners. They are essential for maintaining a balance between offense and defense.

Rat Ogres: Large and brutish, Rat Ogres are the heavy hitters of the Skaven team. Their immense strength allows them to break through enemy lines and create chaos on the pitch. While not the most agile players, their presence can intimidate opponents and clear a path for the faster Skaven.

Throwers: Skaven Throwers are responsible for passing the ball to Gutter Runners and setting up plays. While they may not be as fast as their teammates, their ability to accurately throw the ball is crucial for executing complex strategies.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Skaven team for use in games of Blood Bowl. You’ll receive 2 Blitzers, 2 Throwers, 2 Gutter Runners and 6 Linemen, the perfect core for your roster. Also included are a transfer sheet, turn markers, extra balls, an example roster sheet, and 12 Citadel 32mm Round Blood Bowl bases featuring holes to keep the ball in.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
