The Performers of Death: Every Harlequin Troupe is a travelling theatre company, enacting the ancient myths of the Aeldari through mesmerizing and often deadly performances. These "masques" are not just entertainment; they are a form of worship, a living history, and a potent psychological weapon. Their movements on the battlefield are indistinguishable from their stage acts – a blur of impossible agility, acrobatic leaps, and dazzling strikes that confuse and disorient their enemies.

Key Characteristics:

• Agility & Speed: Harlequins are incredibly fast and nimble, often equipped with Flip Belts that allow them to defy gravity, leaping over obstacles and enemies with impossible ease.
• Close Combat Prowess: They are masters of melee combat, wielding a variety of esoteric weapons like Harlequin's Kisses (which unravel foes from the inside), Caress (that phase through armour), and Embrace (that crush and dismember).
• Psychic Might: Some Harlequins, known as Shadowseers, are powerful psykers who weave illusions and project mental attacks, while Death Jesters sow terror with their macabre jokes and Shrieker Cannons.
• The Mime & the Solitaire: At the heart of a Troupe's performance are these archetypal roles. The Mime embodies the silent grace and hidden menace, while the Solitaire is the ultimate embodiment of Cegorach's dance, a being touched by Slaanesh yet protected by the Laughing God, moving with terrifying, inhuman speed and grace.
